WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!

Hey R.C.F UNILAG!

Where have you been? Or better still… how have you been?

It’s been about three weeks since we’ve been back in UNILAG; settling into hostels, adjusting to school life again, and preparing for the second semester.

One thing is certain: soon, we’ll all be together again in service; worshipping, fellowshipping, singing our family songs, and enjoying God’s presence together.

We just wanted to check in on you, make sure you’re doing well, and ask:

Are you ready for the new semester academically, physically, and most importantly, spiritually?

You wouldn’t want to resume on just vibes because once school starts fully, activities begin almost immediately, school events, faculty programs, departmental demands, HOD Games, tests, assignments, and so much more. It’s important to plan ahead, stay focused, and be intentional about your goals, especially academically.

This is not to stop you from enjoying school life, but to remind you to find balance and pursue excellence in all you do.

And speaking of important events, here’s a quick update on what R.C.F UNILAG has been up to lately:

📖 Book Study

We recently concluded the Book of Matthew, and it was such a beautiful experience learning through the Gospel together. The daily reviews made it even more impactful by helping us understand each chapter more deeply.

And guess what?

We are now studying the Book of Mark!

🔥 Hostel Fire Safety Awareness

The Hostel Community recently shared important fire safety tips for our hostels, and we encourage everyone to pay attention so we can all stay safe and informed.

🎉 Birthday Celebrations

We celebrated many birthdays this month, and it remains a beautiful reminder of God’s faithfulness. Happy birthday to everyone born this month, we pray this new year will be your best yet!

🚗 Driving Training Opportunity

The Transport Unit announced the second edition of the driving training program. Since faith without works is dead, while trusting God for a car, you can also learn how to drive 😄

It’s affordable and comes with great benefits, so don’t miss out!

🙌🏽 Zonal Congress 2026

Last week’s Zonal Congress was truly a success! From the moments of worship and fellowship to the impactful sessions and reunions with brethren across zones, it was a refreshing and memorable experience.

We thank God for all He did and everyone who contributed to making it a success.

🏫 School Resumption

School resumed on the 27th of April, 2026.
