Hey Fam!
It’s such a great pleasure to be writing this to you, my esteemed workers.
This time last week, we were building capacity in the place of prayer. Zonal Workers’ Retreat was such a time in God’s presence.
Now that the zonal workers’ retreat is over!
The retreat doesn’t just end; it continues. After every prayer meeting, there are still more prayers to be done. We do not stop until we see the Father of Prayer – Jesus.
It was such a great time of prayer, impartation, instruction, and every other thing you received from God.
Now, after the retreat, what next?
It’s time to continue from where we stopped. Remember the burdens you got, remember those promises you made to God, remember the stirrings you felt in your belly, remember the commitment you decided in your heart; now is the time to activate it.
The scripture says in 2 Timothy 1:6 that we should stir up the gifts of God on our inside. Fan those gifts to flame. There are a lot of treasures on your inside; there are a lot of things God wants to do through you in RCF UNILAG, in UNILAG, and in the nations He is sending you. You know, it is from Jerusalem to Judea (Acts 1:8). From where you are to where he wants to take you. So, you have to start by being faithful in what He has committed into your hands, then He will be able to commit more things in your hands. (Luke 16:10)
Those gifts in you, start stirring them up in prayer. Pray till you break forth. Pray till something comes upon you.
Stir it up also in service. Jesus, our Jesus, served His generation before He ascended to heaven as the Savior of the world. Even if you are not seen in that department you are serving in, still serve God. The One that sees you in secret will reward you openly. God sees your service so don’t stop; increase what you are doing, there is strength on your inside. The power of God is in you, so don’t stop. Continue serving in love and in truth. God will reward you.
Zonal Workers’ Retreat is over, but your prayer hunger must and will not be over. You are strengthened to do much more for God. You are helped by Yahweh. The mercy of God will insist on you. So, as this mercy and grace of God insists on you, do the works also.
Create structures that will help you stay on fire for God. You can set alarms for Bible study, for your unit meetings, and for your personal prayers. Just make sure you are very much intentional about things you want to do.
RCF UNILAG is a testing ground for most of us. You will not fail your test in Jesus’ name. Remember, we are called to subdue the earth. (Genesis 1:28)
Don’t forget the things that fuel prayer life: afflictions, burdens and hunger. Whichever one you are going through now, just know that God is with you, and be ready to always come out as an overcomer.
The retreat is not the end; it’s just a beginning to an end.
God bless you. God strengthens you.
With love,
From the Follow-Up Unit.
