The beginning of an end of a session comes with its pressure. While you are glad you see an end in sight, you are also trying to give it your all — either to keep the momentum from the previous semester going or beat your previous record.
The bad news is, you are not as invincible as you think — enough to pull these off all on your own. Your plans are subject to modification or complete change on the basis of unforeseen circumstances that arise. In other words, Your strategy is not foolproof.
The good news is as Ecclesiastes 4:9 tells it:
“Two are better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor.” (Ecclesiastes 4:9 NKJV).
Dearly Beloved, you need a partner! Matter of fact, you have The Surest Partner — The Holy Spirit.
Perhaps you have thought of the Holy Spirit as simply a power, or a force— not a person. Hence, you reserve Him for prayer room matters. Or, perhaps, you don’t believe you need the Holy Spirit until the situation is out of your hands.
KIND REMINDER: THE HOLY SPIRIT IS GOD IN YOU!
“But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.” (Romans 8:11, NKJV)
There is a precision and accuracy you are able to operate in that is obedience-rewarding and isn’t associated with trial-and-error or guesswork—The Holy Spirit, The Surest Partner wields it.
You don’t have to do it all; You just need to do what He says. You don’t have to do it all alone; You can always lean on Him for help.
The question is:
“Do you trust The Holy Spirit enough to help you succeed— or do you trust in your plans’ success?”
Can two walk together, unless they are agreed? (Amos 3:3 NKJV)
It is better to always choose the former— trusting in the Holy Spirit to help you succeed. Because He knows what you don’t and He sees what you don’t see — the end from the beginning.
If you have made plans for the semester, you might want to check in with the Holy Spirit to ensure you are on track. Speed is dangerous in the wrong direction.
If you haven’t made plans for the semester yet, you really want to ask the Holy Spirit for help — and do it now. Things tend to always not to go as planned when God is not in it to begin with.
Most of all, you really don’t have to go seeing for yourself this semester. God has seen it all. So, let Him be your partner— not just now but forever.
“You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” (Psalm 16:11, NKJV)
The Holy Spirit? You and Him can change the world.
